Rachel Dawick, songwriter and musician extraordinaire, has recently moved back to Aotearoa from London, landing in Whanganui. With a Masters in Songwriting and extensive facilitation and performance experience this is an incredible opportunity for all budding musicians and music-lovers.
Break through the barrier of getting started and learn practical ways to turn an idea into a song. Explore how verses develop a story, how the chorus carries the emotional heart, and experiment with different song forms. You’ll focus on lyric writing, rhythm, potential melody, genre, and the essential craft of editing. Suitable for all levels — from first‑time writers to experienced song makers. The world always needs more songs!
