Digital Photography & Photoshop Introduction
Is your digital camera and it's menu perplexing you, or holding you up taking great photos? Learn more about your camera through tutorials and two practical outdoor photography field trips with exercises which will expand your camera confidence and creative photographic skills.
I'll share creative techniques I use in my own photography such as composition and framing ideas to add drama, making your photos more engaging via camera effects such as depth of field control.
We then have 3 sessions introducing Photoshop to improve your images and fix the odd problem, such as cloning out unwanted items and collage with two or more images. I guarantee you can make most images 50 percent better after three easy Photoshop commands. This introduction to Photoshop will give you a general insight into image adjustment programs and which program might suit your needs.
All levels welcome, each student will need to bring along their own digital camera and the charger plus a tripod if you have one. I have one or two to share.
Six sessions of 2.5 hrs.
Three practical classes which concentrate on the camera and techniques to make better images. Followed by three Photoshop classes at Whanganui High School (WHS) to improve and alter your photos.

27 March - Monday Photoshop, 6.30 pm – 9 pm, meet at WHS
BYO Digital Camera, Charger and your Tripod if you have one.
Should you need to withdraw from a course the following will apply:
- More than 7 days before the course starts, a refund of 90% of the course fee will be given
- Less than 7 days before the course starts, a refund of 50% of the course fee will be given
- On the day the course starts or after commencement no refund will be given
